Between a rock and a hard place

The onslaught of autumn has begun. This summer flew by, I feel as if it was just starting to creep up in temperature, and now suddenly we’re back in sweatshirts and jeans. I’ve always found something calm and soothing about the beginning of autumn.

Maybe its because my birthday is 10 days after autumn starts. Leaves changing colors, and crisp fall air gets me in the mood to think about life, where I am, where I was, and where I want to be. This year is no different, a lot has happened in the last year, and even more is about to. This autumn is a turning point for me as much as it is for the leaves.

So goodbye summer, and hello crisp air. I’m ready for what the cold has in store for me.
