The Trentonian had the best headline “Hide your Beagle, Vick is an Eagle”

I find it deplorable that the Eagles have signed Michael Vick. I held the Philadelphia Eagles in higher regards then that. The guy killed animals, he hung them from trees, he strangled them, he electrocuted them with jumper cables, he drowned them. Why do you want that image for one of your players?

C’mon Andy Reid, do you really believe the bullshit you’re spewing about how the fans will just accept it? They’ll just have to get over it?

Did no one in your PR department, or your marketing department, or hell even your law department not stop and say “Hey maybe this isn’t *such* a great idea guys?”, did you guys really not expect there to be protesters outside at your games?

I just can’t wrap my head around this choice, the guy was banned from the NFL. What changed? I’m all for second chances, but what Vick did, was NOT an accident. It was a choice, he bankrolled that operation, he ran it. This wasn’t something that was a one shot accidental happening.

Should Blackjack, and I find ourselves in the South Jersey and/or Philadelphia area in the next couple of weeks, you should expect to see us outside Lincoln Financial Field, holding a sign.
