The beautiful thing about a corn maze is…

My mother has been talking about doing one of these corn maze things for quite sometime. So this week, since we already had to go down to pick up BlackJack-No-Double Down from her. We figured we’d get there early and go to one.

Well first the one we went to it was the last weekend for, and believe you me, thank god it was. Being November now, the corn was dead. Dead to the point where you could see through the “walls”. Making it much less difficult, or so you think. This particular one came with a twist. It wasn’t that you just had to navigate the maze safely, and competently. This one you needed to locate signs, or clues within and through out the maze. Well there were a total of 10 of these signs. We found 9 of them in about 20 minutes. Then we spent the next hour walking around in corn filled circles searching for the last one.

Which by the way we never found.

We intend to go back next year, when you can’t see through the ‘walls”
